CRASH BAGGAGE recognizes the warranty covering luggage and accessories in polycarbonate and aluminum, purchased from authorized dealers (physical stores and online stores) or from our official website: crashbaggage.com
The product is guaranteed in its original packaging as sold. The materials and manufacturing are designed for normal use and intended purposes.
Pursuant to Articles 128 to 135 of the Consumer Code, we have the obligation to deliver goods that comply with the contract of sale, and we are responsible for two years for any lack of conformity existing from the time the goods are delivered.
The legal warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage resulting from: - improper use, - transport of unusual items, - negligence, - abrasion, - exposure to excessive temperatures, - neglect, - solvents, - acids, - normal wear, - transport. Furthermore, we are not responsible for aesthetic damage, such as scratches, dents - which, according to our philosophy, embellish the suitcase, making it unique - changes in color, normal wear, and all that does not affect the functionality of the luggage.
In the event of lack of conformity/manufacturing, you have the right for the goods to be restored under warranty, without charge, through repair or replacement, or an appropriate reduction of price or termination of the contract in the event that the repair or replacement: - is not possible or excessively burdensome; - was not carried out within a reasonable period; - was carried out but causing considerable inconveniences.
The Customer has the right to ask the Seller to repair or replace the goods, at no charge in both cases, unless the remedy requested is impossible or disproportionate to the other. One of the two remedies is considered excessively burdensome if it imposes unreasonable costs for the other. Evaluating the cost of the required remedy is at the discretion of Crash Baggage.
We are responsible when the lack of conformity occurs within the term of 2 years from delivery of the goods. Also, you have a two month deadline to notify us from the moment you discover the defect. The action aimed at enforcing the warranty for defects, therefore, expires within 26 months from delivery of the goods. Unless proven otherwise, it is presumed that the inherent defects that become apparent within six months after delivery of the goods already existed on that date, unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the nature of the inherent defects.
The declaration of non-compliance of the goods must only be presented to the authorized dealer where the products with the Crash Baggage trademark were purchased, whether it is an actual shop or an e-shop. You must provide proof of purchase, an online order confirmation, or a warranty certificate completed by the retailer.
In the event that the products were purchased through our website: www.crashbaggage.com, the notification must be sent via email to the address: email@example.com accompanied by a photo of the damage and the order confirmation.
If necessary, we will take in the defective product, in order to verify whether the defect is a manufacturing defect. In the event that the defect is not a manufacturing defect, we will have to ask you to reimburse the costs of collection and delivery of the goods, of which we will, however, inform you in advance.
Repairs and replacements will be made within a reasonable period of time from when the request is sent.
You have the right to return the product without incurring any costs within 30 days of receipt of the goods or from purchase at an authorized dealer, and, therefore, request a full refund, provided that the goods are complete, unused, and undamaged.
Crash Baggage offers its customers an additional warranty on their products.
We offer a five-year warranty on the following accessories, based on the availability of spare parts:
- Trolley system
- TSA lock
- Zipper puller
In case of damage or defect of one of the listed parts, send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org, accompanied by a photo and proof of purchase, in order to speed up the procedure. The shipping costs are borne by the customer.
